Joan Duncan Foundation Cheque Handover
to Dare to Care / Mustard Seed Communities
Continuing with the posture to serve the nations in which they operate, the JMMB Group through their philanthropic arm- the Joan Duncan Foundation contributed $1.18million to the Dare to Care / Mustard Seed Communities on January 22, 2014. The initial donation was set to be $1.0 million, however the true story rests in the hearts of the JMMB team who, moved by the Foundation’s donation and the Christmas spirit, rallied themselves and made the additional contribution of $180,000.00 towards the cause. The contribution will go towards the purchase of a new well- needed bus for the charity organization. The handover took place on the compound of ‘Father’s House’ of the Mustard Seed Communities with the Foundation’s Kim Mair and JMMB’s Moya Leiba-Barnes on hand to deliver the cheque. Monsignor Ramkisson, Founder of the Mustard Seed Communities, Jamaica, was on hand to receive the cheque and was joined by Father Garvin Agustine, Executive Director, Mustard Seed Communities, International and Mrs. Darcy Tulloch-Williams, Executive Director, Mustard Seed Communities, Jamaica.
